Privacy Policy

This page explains what information ashburnperformance.com collects, why, and what your choices are. If anything here is unclear, write to contact@ashburnperformance.com.

What this site collects

1. Information you give us via the contact form

If you fill in the contact form on the homepage, we receive your name, email address, and the message you wrote. We use this information only to respond to your inquiry. We do not use it for marketing, do not sell it, and do not share it with anyone outside of Dr. Ashburn's practice.

2. Anonymous traffic data (always on)

The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views, top referrers, and country/browser/device breakdowns. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other sites, and does not identify individual visitors.

3. Visitor analytics — Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity

To improve the site, we use two visitor-analytics tools that set cookies:

4. How consent works (depending on where you are)

The site uses geolocation to honor the privacy law of the jurisdiction you're visiting from:

Third-party services used by this site

How long we keep your information

Contact form submissions are kept in Dr. Ashburn's email indefinitely (or until you ask him to delete them). Cloudflare, Google, and Microsoft analytics data is retained according to their own retention policies; we do not export or store any of those datasets elsewhere.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

Email contact@ashburnperformance.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or California, you have additional rights under the GDPR and the CCPA respectively, including the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

Cookies

For most visitors (outside the regulated regions listed in section 4), the site loads analytics cookies on first visit: _ga (Google Analytics) and a Microsoft Clarity session cookie. Both are first-party (set under the ashburnperformance.com domain) and used only for the purposes described above. For visitors in regulated regions, those cookies are set only after you click "Allow." No other cookies are used.

The site also sets one first-party functional cookie called amps_sid — a random 30-day session identifier. It is used to attach behavioral context (which sections of this page you read, how long you spent on each, what referrer brought you here) to any inquiry you submit through the contact form, so Dr. Ashburn can respond with appropriate context. The amps_sid cookie is set by the site itself, never shared with any third party, and not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. You can clear it any time by clearing your browser cookies.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If the policy changes meaningfully, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and post a note on the homepage for at least 30 days.
